Yet another brush with greatness! (Or an example of what might have been.)
So I’m hanging out watching Animal Planet and a show called “K-9 Boot Camp” comes on. Having been a dog handler earlier in my life, I figured it would be fun to watch, maybe see some places I’ve been before, and relive some great memories.
Then who should I see grace the screen as an MWD Instructor? SSgt David Dean, United States Army, and a member of my Patrol Dog class when I attended Lackland! Small world, but I wouldn’t want to paint it.
Being a dog handler was the second best thing I’ve done in my life (Being a Daddy is number one). Good times….
