I wish, within <social media> capability, I could LIKE this 1000 times and click LOVE 1000 times more, just so my friend knew, one last time, how much his real and social interactions meant to me.
While I’d caution anyone from considering their employer “family”, the individuals working next to you, in the right situation, can become your brother or sister.
Send the email, make the call, set the lunch date and don’t let it pass. Take the time to nurture those small wins into the magnificent friendships they can become.
Because I’d give it all up for just one more lunch, or LIKE from my friend.
